Our first CSA

We're firm believers in sustainable farming and organic practices. Using these practices, we want to deliver premium produce and herbs to our members' doorsteps every week.

We hope that you'll join our very first CSA and support our ongoing work in sustainability and heritage.

What is a CSA?

A CSA or Community Supported Agriculture is a model that allows customers to buy directly from a farmer and pay upfront before the season starts, so we can buy seeds and supplies. In return, we will grow food just for you and harvest, wash, and deliver it to you weekly during our growing season.

Our Spring/Summer CSA share feeds a family of four. Deliveries and pickups start on May 16th and run for 10 weeks.

What comes with my CSA membership?

Throughout the growing season, our CSA will include (but won't be limited to):

Vegetables: Salad greens, heirloom tomatoes, sweet potatoes, collards, peppers, etc..
Culinary herbs: garlic, ginger, turmeric, rosemary, basil, and more...
Heritage ingredients that have a special history in our foodway, and
A surprise, value-added product.

All grown on our sustainable farm!

Throughout the growing season, we'll also offer add-ons for our CSA members.

You have the option of picking up your order from Jolly's Mill Pond Farm or having it delivered to your doorstep.

Other CSA Benefits

Grocery store produce can be shipped from thousands of miles away. As a Jolly's Mill Pond CSA member, your produce is grown practically in your backyard!

We grow without conventional pesticides. We only use some organic pesticides and deterrents when absolutely necessary and as a last resort!

What happens if something goes wrong on the farm and there’s no produce for delivery?*

Week-to-week, some deliveries will be larger than others. We aim to make each delivery the same size, but sometimes nature doesn't allow it.

Regardless of weather, we'll make every effort to supply you with an abundance of our sustainable produce.

If I’m out of town or cannot receive my order, can I get a refund for the missed delivery?

In short, you can’t. For your 10-week membership, we sow plants 70-90 days before harvest. Unfortunately, a refund isn't usually possible, but if you have special circumstances, let us know and we can find a solution.
